Marketing Coordinator & Content Writer

Are you a storyteller with a passion for creating content that is authentic, relevant, and remembered? Do you like to inspire others with strategic stories of how business and technology innovation can strengthen the communities in which we live and work? Do you enjoy helping subject matter experts distill their insights into clear, compelling communications?

We are currently recruiting a Marketing Coordinator & Content Writer to develop high-quality, opportunity-specific response documents with competitive and compelling messages to win new contracts. This individual must be able to prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines.

As a content writer, you will share the magnificent work of our customers, partners, and employees through short- and long-form interviews, case studies, articles, social posts, research reports, webinar decks, whitepapers, video scripts, and other assets. You will partner with stakeholders across the company to craft stories in a voice that is deeply human and connects our audiences to our strong, purpose-driven company.

The successful candidate must have a strong interest and understanding of Salesforce and full-service consulting firms and be able to convey this through writing and graphics. We are seeking someone who has the confidence and creativity to bring innovative ideas and implement them.

What You will Do:

  • Manage the end-to-end RFP response process to ensure all expectations, actions, and timelines are understood and met, and milestones tracked
  • Create content and design slides for RFP follow-up presentations, quarterly business reviews, customer success stories, newsletters, and additional publications
  • Write, edit, and compile content from various sources into cohesive marketing materials including cover letters, resumes, boilerplate information, project descriptions, etc.
  • Write, edit, and format proposal documents so that they are accurate, well-written, and persuasive
  • Partner with Synaptic teams to research and develop story ideas.
  • Craft compelling, on-brand, platform-appropriate content to support marketing and communications initiatives.
  • Collaborate with designers, technologists, marketers, and others on creative projects and campaigns from conception to rollout.
  • Translate complex concepts into content that is easily accessible to a range of audiences.
  • Develop expertise in multiple topics related to Synaptics services and capabilities.
  • Steward the Synaptic brand voice and support its continuing refinement.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to develop Synaptic branding and content for demo orgs
  • Lead the promotion of Synaptic Advisors events, including conferences, dinners, webinars, etc.
  • Work with the Leadership team to execute pre-event promotion and registration
  • Responsible for executing and supporting social engagements (Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Attend networking functions and pre-proposal meetings, as appropriate.

What we would like from you: (Qualifications/Experience):

  • 2+ years of proposal writing experience
  • 2+ years experience in similar marketing roles
  • A deep understanding of the proposal process
  • Portfolio of excellent writing samples
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong organizational skills and focused attention to detail
  • Deep appreciation for the Oxford comma
  • Preferred but not required: Working knowledge of core B2B marketing systems including CRMs, marketing automation platforms, web analytics tools, and project management tools.
  • Preferred but not required: Experience with UI/UX software and design
  • A bachelor’s degree in English, communications, journalism, or related field
  • Experience with sales management systems such as Salesforce
